Women attempt to wake sleeping man, suffer bites, bumps and bruises. 

Two women who attempted to wake a sleeping man in the Tenderloin instead suffered bites, bruises and contusions early Sunday morning, police reported.

When the 18- and 28-year-old victims tried to wake the 22-year-old suspect at 4:16 a.m., he attacked them both. The 18-year-old suffered bites to his forearm and knee.

Two other people were also injured. All were treated at San Francisco General Hospital.

The sleeping man was later arrested.
