Women almost go to blows over who was next at the gas station

Talk about fueling a fight.

Two female drivers were on the brink of an all-out brawl at an Outer Mission gas station on Wednesday, police said.

One of the women told cops she was assaulted right as she was about to pump gas into her car at the Arco station at Mission Street and Sickles Avenue around 3 p.m.

The woman, who thought she had dibs on the gas pump, began cursing at her. She then grabbed the gas nozzle and tried to yank it out of the woman’s hands, police said.
Trying to halt any further violence, the gas station attendant went outside and asked who paid for the gas. The woman who was attacked said she paid for it, so the attendant took the nozzle and handed it back to her, police said.

The attacker fled in a red Chevy vehicle, police said. No one has been arrested.
