Woman wakes up in vehicle to be carjacked in Hayes Valley

A woman was carjacked in Hayes Valley early Saturday morning, police said.

The 26-year-old victim parked her truck in the 200 block of Fell Street with her keys in the vehicle and went to sleep inside the truck. When she woke at 6:45 a.m., she saw a man and woman in possession of her keys and they told her to get out of the vehicle or they would shoot her, police said. The woman did not see a weapon.

The victim exited the vehicle and the male suspect punched her. The two suspects, who appeared to be in their 20s, fled the scene in the victim's truck.
