Woman robbed of purse, car in San Francisco’s Bayview district

A woman was robbed of her purse and her car in the Bayview on Tuesday, cops said.

The woman was standing outside her car talking with a friend in the area of Carroll Avenue and Ingalls Street around 12:25 p.m. when they were approached by two hoodlums, police said. The victim said she was on the drivers side and the keys were in the ignition.

One of the hoodlums asked the victim questions about her friend while the other stood by the passenger door of her car looking menacingly at her, cops said.

The victim got scared and grabbed her purse out of the car, police said. The thug that had been asking questions grabbed her purse and jumped into the drivers seat while the other hoodlum jumped in from the other side. They fled in the car toward Candlestick Park, cops said.

As of Wednesday the car has not been found and no arrest have been made, police said.
