Woman robbed of cell phone in San Francisco cafe

A 47-year-old woman was robbed of her cell phone in a downtown cafe Monday morning, police said.

The victim was sitting at a table inside the cafe in the unit block of Fifth Street when the thief — a man in his early 20s — swiped her cell phone off the table at around 9:45 a.m. She tried to fight for her phone back, but the suspect got away after a struggle, police said.

There has been no arrest. The woman suffered minor injuries during the robbery, police said.
