Woman robbed in broad daylight in downtown San Francisco

A woman was assaulted and robbed in the Financial District in broad daylight Saturday, police said.

The victim was standing at the corner of Bush and Kearney streets and listening to music when she was struck in the head from behind around 2:27 p.m. After she was hit, a second crook snatched her cellphone from her hands, police said.

The hoodlums fled northbound on Montgomery Street toward California Street.

Cops searched the area but could not find the suspects. The victim declined medical treatment, police said.
