Woman robbed during gun deal gone bad

It was a shot to the heart for the woman who was robbed by a pal during a gun deal in Glen Park Friday.

A woman told police at Ingleside Station that she was robbed by a friend who agreed to sell a gun to her in the 2900 block of Diamond Boulevard, near the Glen Park BART Station.

Instead of selling the gun, the pal put the firearm to the victim’s head around 4:35 p.m. and said “she wanted everything,” police said. The victim handed over the $600 she brought for the gun purchase. She was not injured during the robbery.

The victim then called cops and reported the robbery, police said.

As of Monday, no arrest was reported. It was unclear if the victim faces charges for attempting to purchase a gun. According to state law, private party gun sales must be conducted through a fully licensed California firearms dealer.
