Firefighters rescued a woman from San Francisco Bay on Tuesday night after she fell off Pier 39 and into the water.

The incident was reported at 10:42 p.m.

The woman was taken to a hospital after she was pulled from the water, but she was not seriously injured, firefighters said.

ABC7 captured footage of the rescue.

The television station also reported that witnesses said the woman was walking along the seawall before falling and hitting her chin. She had to tread water for about five minutes before being pulled from the cold water, ABC7 said.
