Woman punched, robbed for refusing drugs in the Tenderloin 

A woman was punched in the face and robbed of her cellphone after she refused to by drugs from a young thug in the Tenderloin early Friday.

The 27-year-old victim was in the 800 block of Polk Street about 2:50 a.m. when a man who appeared to be in his 20s approached and asked if the woman wanted to buy drugs, police said. She said no and the man then punched her in the face and took her cellphone before fleeing.

The victim sustained only minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

No arrest has been made.
