Woman pepper-sprayed for her purse among other robberies 

Thieves and crooks jumped right into the workweek with fresh robberies Monday and Tuesday.

200 block of Byxbee Street
6:50 p.m. Monday

A 21-year-old woman was pepper-sprayed and robbed by another woman, cops said. The pepper-spraying crook grabbed the victim’s purse. The victim struggled to keep it so the creep sprayed her in the face and fled toward Randolph Street with the bag, which contained an iPod and cellphones.

Arballo Drive and Higuera Avenue
10:30 p.m. Monday

Two goons aged 18 to 22 roughed up a 19-year-old man in an attempted robbery, police said. The goons pushed the victim against the wall and patted him down. When they couldn’t find his wallet they decided to beat on him instead. The victim got a kick in on one of the goons who promptly fled on foot.

Crescent Avenue and Anderson Street
1:40 a.m. Tuesday

A 26-year-old woman was attacked and robbed by two men in their 20s and a woman in her 20s, cops said. The hooligans approached the victim and punched her in the face before stealing her wallet and cellphone.

Golden Gate Avenue and Fillmore Street
1:45 a.m. Tuesday

A 20-year-old man snuck up on a man and stole his wallet, police said. The crook reached into the 47-year-old victim’s pocket, snatched his wallet and fled. No arrests have been made.
