Woman kidnapped in Mission, escapes abductor in Potrero Hill

A woman was kidnapped in San Francisco’s Mission district on Sunday and managed to escape her abductor in Potrero Hill, cops said.

The 19-year-old victim was in the vicinity of 19th and Mission streets at around 1 a.m. when she was approached by a man, described by police as 25 years old, who threatened to shoot her and dragged her to a nearby brown van, police said.

The creep then tried to force the victim to swallow a pill and shoved her into the back of the van and drove off, cops said.

When the van was stopped around 17th and Kansas streets in Potrero Hill, the woman was able to open a door and flee the vehicle, police said.

Nothing was taken from the woman and she was not seriously injured in the ordeal. As of Monday afternoon, no arrest had been made.
