Welcome to San Francisco.

You’re almost 2-years-old, you’re going to be the flower girl in a wedding. You’re kicked in the chest by an unhinged woman in a Golden Gate Park playground.

Sabryna Bell, 24, of San Francisco was arrested Monday afternoon after kicking a toddler at the Koret Children’s Quarter Playground about 4:30 p.m. and threatening other children and their parents, police Officer Gordon Shyy said. The playground is not far from Kezar Drive in the southeast corner of Golden Gate Park.

Bell reportedly walked by the child, who was standing with her father, and for no apparent reason Bell kicked the child in the chest. The child fell down and hit her head on the pavement but her injuries were reportedly not serious, Shyy said, having sustained only minor abrasions.

The child was in San Francisco with her family from out of state to attend a wedding in which she is going to be the flower girl.

After kicking the toddler, Bell reportedly threatened another parent and child before fleeing. She was apprehended in the 400 block of Carl Street.

“She was walking around screaming and threatening children in the area,” Shyy said. Multiple witnesses to the incident reported Bell’s behavior to police.

Bell did not appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, Shyy said.

She was booked with multiple felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon, the deadly weapon being her foot, criminal threats, inflicting injury upon a child and multiple outstanding warrants, Shyy said.
