Woman held at gunpoint in Western Addition home-invasion robbery

A woman was held at gunpoint in a home invasion robbery in the Western Addition on Tuesday morning, police said.

The 49-year-old victim answered her door about 9:10 a.m., police said, and three men pushed their way in. She lives in the unit block of Western Shore Lane.

One of the crooks pulled out a gun and forced the victim to lie on the ground, police said. The other two suspects rummaged through the bedrooms.

The crooks fled on foot with just the woman’s cellphone, and she was not injured.
