Woman critically injured in SoMa after being run over by car 

A woman was critically injured in South of Market on Sunday night after arguing with a man who ran over her with a car, police said Monday.

The man and woman were reportedly arguing near Ninth and Harrison streets about 9:39 p.m., police said.

The victim was trying to get into the vehicle when the man drove off, running over the victim in the process.

The woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. She sustained a broken leg and serious head trauma.

The only vehicle description available Monday was that the car is black.
