Woman cited for battery in ATM attack 

A 57-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly striking an ATM customer in the back of the head on Tuesday.

The victim was struck outside the Bank of America at Fell and Broderick streets around 6:20 p.m., police said.

The suspect was cited for battery and taken to San Francisco General Hospital for a mental health check.
