Woman assaults other woman with cream, broomstick in Tenderloin doughnut shop

A woman assaulted another woman with stolen cream and a broomstick in a Tenderloin doughnut shop Tuesday, police said.

The suspect, a woman reportedly 25 to 35 years old, entered the shop in the 200 block of Ellis Street about 1:20 p.m. and took a container of cream, police said.

The 26-year-old woman working at the shop confronted the suspect with a broom and the suspect threw the cream at her. She then grabbed the broom from the victim's hand and struck her on the side of the head before fleeing.

The victim sustained some bruising and a swollen ear and was treated at the scene.

No arrest has been made.
