Woman assaulted for her laundry in the Mission

A woman was assaulted and robbed of her laundry cart full of clothes in the Mission on Monday, police said.

The 48-year-old had just left a laundromat near 18th and Capp streets about 9:45 p.m. when five suspects, four men who appeared to be in their 20s and a woman who appeared to be in her 40s, began assaulting the victim, police said. She was punched several times.

The crooks then fled with the victim's cart of clothes.

The woman had minor injuries to her head and shoulder and was treated at the hospital.

No arrests have been made.
