Woman allegedly socked at Mission Laundromat 

A woman was knocked out during a spat with her neighbor at a Mission district Laundromat on Thursday, police said.

The victim told police her neighbor became angry when she poured soap into his washing machine at the laundry center in the 2900 block of Mission Street, between 25th and 26th streets. Police were called to the Laundromat about 5:40 p.m.

The suspect, a 27-year-old man, punched the victim, a 59-year-old woman, once with a closed fist, cutting her lip and knocking her unconscious, police said.

The injury was not life threatening and the alleged attacker was arrested, police said.
