Woman, 92, victim of Chinatown burglary

A 92-year-old woman's Chinatown apartment was burglarized Sunday, police said.

The suspect in the burglary reportedly entered the apartment in the 700 block of Broadway about 4 p.m. through the victim's unlocked front door, police said.

The victim exited the bathroom and saw the suspect going through drawers in her living area, police said. She asked what he was up to and he turned around and snatched the victim's wallet from her front shirt pocket, tearing the shirt, before fleeing.

A detailed description of the suspect was not available Monday.
