Whitman takes stand in Craigslist trial

Meg Whitman, the Republican candidate for governor and former eBay CEO, will be the first witness on the stand today in a trial involving Craigslist. Whitman, who resigned as CEO in 2008, will testify in Georgetown, Del., as eBay tries to prove that Craigslist owners Craig Newmark and James Buckmaster diluted its minority stake in the online advertising company to eliminate eBay’s ability to elect board members.
