What’s on the menu at your favorite open space?

Here’s a sampler menu for The City’s open spaces in coming months: hot dogs, sushi and Latin American food in Justin Herman Plaza and probably falafels, waffles and clam chowder at Golden Gate Park or Civic Center.

Rec and Park commissioners at their meeting on Thursday will decide whether mobile vendors Liba, Sam’s Chowder House and Wafflemania are suitable for The City’s largest park and City Hall’s front yard.

It’s in addition to the four — Let’s Be Frank, Onigilly, La Cocina and Annie’s Hot Dogs — they already approved for Golden Gate Park, Justin Herman Plaza, Dolores Park and Civic Center.
