What we need to do after the November elections

We are all fired up for the upcoming elections.

Tea Parties have been held almost continuously, and the people are enthusiastic about what will happen in the elections. Still, remember the elections are not over and the Republicans have not won anything yet. We still need everyone enthused and to GOTV. The Concord Project is a good place for people to get organized use the GOTV, find like-minded groups, and where to go to volunteer for the elections.

So what happens after the elections, assuming the Republicans win back the House and gain seats in the Senate (or gain control of the Senate)? Do we stop there and let our guard down and let the Republicans reign over the House and Senate without our input? NO.  We need to keep the Republicans on the right track. How to do that???  Well, we can take back the party via the Precinct Committeeman Project. What better way to keep the fire under the Republicans than to join up and change the Party from within.

What happens after 2010, 2012? If we play our cards right we will most likely take over the House, Senate and then regain the Presidency in 2012.  Should we stop there?  Again, NO.  As we all know when people get to DC, they get the taste of power and they get caught up in trying to bring the PORK back for their districts. We must remain vigilant and not let the money, power and influence take over again. Look what happened when we had Pres. George Bush in the White House and the Republicans in control of both Houses - we had a bunch of drunken sailors spending money hand over fist.

This is a long war, and we need to take back the country from the elitists in both Parties. Make no mistake, not all Republicans are Conservatives. Many want to spend and control our lives just as much as many on the Democrat side. For about 100 years or more the Progressives in both parties have moved us farther to the left. Remember, we will not be able to change everything overnight.

It will take time to return the government to the people, and undo so much damage, but we can do this - starting this November and beyond.
