Weather causes more flight delays at SFO, Oakland

Stormy weather delayed flights at several Bay Area airports Thursday afternoon, and delays are expected to continue into the night.

Arriving and departing flights at San Francisco International Airport are about 60 to 90 minutes behind schedule, according to duty manager
Chris Davison.

She said delays have been continuing at the airport throughout the day, and will likely carry on into the night as well.

At Oakland International Airport, departing flights were experiencing delays of about 30 minutes, spokeswoman Rosemary Barnes said.

Travelers and those picking up people from the airports should check flight statuses online or call their airlines to find out if their
flight is delayed.
