Expect sun today with high temperatures in the 70s to mid 80s. Southeast winds of 5 mph are expected with northeast winds of 10 to 20 mph in the hills.

Fire warning

The National Weather Service has issued a red flag fire warning for Monterey County due to warm temperatures with dry and breezy conditons. The warning is in effect until 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Tonight

The Bay Area tonight is expected to be clear with low temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 60s and northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow

Wednesday the Bay Area is expected to be sunny. High temperatures in the upper 60s are expected along the coast and highs in the lower 80s are expected inland.

Northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph are anticipated.

Traffic

Traffic is backed up across the upper deck of the Bay Bridge due to an earlier five-car accident on westbound I-80 neatr Fremont St., and a new stall near the Treasure Island onramp which is blocking the right lane. Metering lights are on at the toll plaza; traffic is backed up to the MacArthur Maze.
