'We need more women like Martha Coakley to run for office' 

Quick: Who said that? Was it Michael Steele, Rush Limbaugh, or some other Republican Party functionary?

No. In fact, it was Terry O'Neill, president of the National Organization for Women.

"We strongly endorsed Coakley. She is a great leader, she is a good candidate. We need more women like Martha Coakley to run for office. More women run, more women will win."

O'Neill said in the same interview, with the left-wing site The Raw Story, that her organization wants the Senate health care bill killed -- apparently a fait accompli at this point, although not all liberals have accepted this reality yet.
