Water main break impacts J-Church Muni line

Crews from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission are working to repair a water main break in The City's Glen Park neighborhood this morning that is impacting a San Francisco Municipal Railway Metro line.

The water main break was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Roanoke Street between Arlington Street and San Jose Avenue, SFPUC spokeswoman Catania Galvan said.

Utilities crews arrived to the scene at about 9 a.m. and are working to determine the cause of the break.

Service has not been disrupted for customers in the residential area, but westbound San Jose Avenue remained closed in the area as of 11:30 a.m.

Muni's J-Church line is running shuttles from 30th and Church streets to Geneva and San Jose avenues due to the break, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.
