Vallejo ferry commuters take bus instead

Ferry passengers from Vallejo to The City had to wait for three hours this morning for a bus to replace their ride because the first four routine trips were canceled due to the weather.

The first Baylink Ferry was scheduled to leave at 5:30 a.m. but was canceled, including the next three.

A bus arrived for the 8:45 a.m. ferry to take whoever waited to The City and vice versa, said ticket saleswoman Amy Munoz. A bus was also scheduled to pick up commuters for the 10 a.m. ferry.

The next ferry scheduled to leave Vallejo was at 11 a.m., but may have also been canceled if the weather was unfavorable.
