Val Kilmer had a hell of a week.

On Jan. 26, the star of "The Doors" and "Batman Forever" was rushed to the hospital with what TMZ ominously called "bleeding from the throat." On Saturday, Kilmer dismissed "silly talk" about a possible throat tumor. Later Saturday, his publicist confirmed he was undergoing tests for a tumor. On Sunday, Kilmer confirmed that he wasn't undergoing tests for a tumor.

And on Monday, Kilmer's family reportedly told TMZ that Kilmer had suffered from a growing throat tumor since summer, but was refusing treatment because of his Christian Science religious beliefs. Christian Scientists typically believe in the healing power of prayer and often shun traditional medical treatment.

On Facebook, the 55-year-old actor remained cryptic.

"I've been quiet about my health because it's my business," he said, decrying "no fact checking blogging that gets sold as legitimate news today to our grand lazy public."

Suge Knight, rap producer and former CEO of Death Row Records, is now officially facing a murder rap. Knight was charged with murder and attempted murder on Monday, according to The Associated Press, after striking two men with his truck last Thursday. One man, 55-year-old Terry Carter, was killed; actor Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, was badly injured.

Knight's attorney said the former hip-hop mogul accidentally ran over the men while trying to escape an attack in Compton. Sheriff's deputies, who were providing security on the set of N.W.A biopic "Straight Outta Compton," maintain Knight was asked to leave the film's nearby set for fighting.

Knight's $2 million bail was revoked Monday after authorities said the 49-year-old would be a flight risk and likely to intimidate witnesses. Knight previously served nearly five years in prison for beating an industry rival.
