An man allegedly threatened to shoot a Bayview woman last week after her husband rejected his plan to start an underground street fighting operation.

On Wednesday, police said, officers responded to the 1000 block of Innes Avenue on a call about a possibly armed man.

A 41-year-old woman reportedly told the officers that a man who just met her husband earlier that day had come to her home and threatened to “put a bullet in her head.”

Before the threat, she said, the suspect attempted to convince her husband to “go into business with him in an underground street fighting operation.” When the husband refused, police said, the suspect became enraged.

The wife demanded that the suspect leave, which police said led to his alleged threat to shoot her. Her husband then escorted the suspect from the home, police said.

The suspect was still at the scene when police arrived and arrested on charges of making criminal threats.
