Two women were shot in the Tenderloin in separate incidents Sunday, and suspects were arrested in connection with both shootings.

One woman was shot in the 900 block of Market Street near the Warfield Theater about 7:30 p.m., police Officer Gordon Shyy said. The victim sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

About 9 p.m., police made an arrest in connection with the shooting.

Another woman was also shot not far from the other incident, at Golden Gate Avenue and Market Street, and around the same time, Shyy said.

In that shooting, the victim said she heard several gun shots and then noticed she was struck in the wrist, police said.

Two men and one teenage boy were arrested at the scene.

There was no further information Monday morning on either incident.

The shootings occurred in the same area where a man was shot the day before. All three shootings occurred during Pride weekend in The City.

Anyone with information regarding the shootings is encouraged to call police at (415) 575-4444 or text at TIP411 with “SFPD” at the beginning of the message.
