Two people injured in Tenderloin shooting 

Two people were injured in a shooting in the Tenderloin on Sunday night, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.

The shooting occurred in the 100 block of Turk Street about 9:10 p.m., police said.

One victim was shot in the arm and another victim was shot in the leg, Shyy said. They were taken to the hospital for their injuries, which were not life threatening.

Police located and arrested a suspect in the 900 block of Market Street, Shyy said, and a firearm was recovered at the scene.

The shooting reportedly impacted traffic in the area during the course of the investigation.
