Two knifed in separate incidents overnight 

Two people suffered knife wounds during run-ins with violent crooks in The City overnight.

A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach and arm while fighting off a thug at Eighth and Mission streets around 9 p.m. Wednesday, police said. The suspect fled and nothing was stolen.

At 3:30 a.m. Thursday, a 50-year-old man was cut in the hand, leg and abdomen by robbers at Ellis and Hyde streets, police said. He lost cash during the heartless heist.

The victims are expected to survive the attacks.

There have been no arrests in the robberies, police said.
