Police are investigating two separate stabbings in the Mission district early Thursday.

At 2:19 a.m., police said, officers were called to a fight in the street in the 2100 block of Mission Street, between 17th and 18th streets, and found a 32-year-old with stab wounds.

The victim was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not life threatening, police said.

Just over an hour later, two suspects reportedly stabbed a 30-year-old man before fleeing. That victim is also expected to survive the attack.

There has been no arrest in either case and police have not said whether the incidents are linked.
