Turn that music down

A man was cited for blasting his neighbors’ eardrums and a delivery boy was stiffed on the bill.

200 block of Flood Avenue, 11:40 a.m. Monday

Cops cited a man for playing his music too loudly, police said. A neighbor called complaining about the noise. Police asked the rocker to turn it down, and he complied. When the officers left, the man turned his music back up and opened all his windows — take that, neighbors! Police returned and he was cited.

300 block of Country Club Drive 12:30 p.m. Monday

A 30-year-old woman was frightened by a potential burglar, police said. The victim was sitting in her bedroom when an unknown suspect opened the window. She screamed and he fled.

Taylor and North Point streets 9:10 p.m. Monday

A 47-year-old woman was robbed of her purse, police said. Four men drove up in a black, four-door sedan. One of the men got out, slapped the victim’s hand, snatched her purse and fled in the car.

2200 block of Cayuga Avenue Around 6 p.m. Monday

A restaurant delivery boy was left holding the bag, police said. The boy was making a delivery on Cayuga Avenue and the man who greeted him took the food and said he would return with the money. The boy waited at least 15 minutes and knocked again, but the food thief never came back.
