Workers installing artificial turf at Balboa High School can’t catch a break from thieves, cops said.
Crooks have twice hit the school’s football field. Cops were called Saturday morning to the school after a utility car used by work crews was stolen, police said.
One morning last month, a worker told police someone, or several thieves, had nabbed a piece of the turf overnight, cops said.
Police are hunting the bandits.
Balboa High School is located in The City’s Mission Terrace neighborhood, 1000 Cayuga Ave.
