Traffic disruptions expected in the Presidio on Monday

Traffic is expected to be disrupted on Monday on the Richmond District side of the Presidio National Park.

Paving of Wedemeyer Road and a parking lot is scheduled Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to Presidio Trust spokeswoman Diana Parker. The work is contingent upon fine weather.

Battery Caulfield Road will be closed while paving proceeds but residents of the street will be able to access their homes, according to Parker.

Access through the 15th Avenue Gate will also be limited and pedestrian and cycling access will be restricted in the vicinity of the gate.

This blog was corrected after it was published to indicate that Diana Parker was the Presidio Trust official who provided information about the road closure.
