The Bay Area tonight is expected to be partly cloudy with patchy fog. Low temperatures in the mid 40s to low 50s and west winds of 5 to 10 mph are anticipated.

Tomorrow

Thursday the Bay Area is expected to be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures in the upper 50s to upper 60s and south winds of 5 to 15 mph are expected.

Traffic

A collision involving a big rig, a garbage truck and a two-passenger car is blocking one lane of U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The vehicles crashed around 6:15 a.m. and have left the westbound No. 4 lane blocked just south of Third Street, CHP Officer Chris Nave said.

The driver of the big rig appears to be badly injured, Nave said.
