Tibetans and Tibet supporters took to City Hall to mark the 56th anniversary of the 1959 uprising in Tibet. Hundreds of protesters came out to listen to musical guests, theatrical performances, speakers and most notably, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi gave her support to the Tibetan people and spoke about the injustices they incur and that China is ultimately responsible for their suffering.
