Thug hunt after midday Dolores Park shooting, robbery 

Police are hunting two robbers after a 22-year-old man was shot in an alley near Dolores Park Tuesday afternoon.

The man is expected to survive the 2 p.m. shooting.

According to police, the victim met a girl who drove him to an alley by the park. Then two male thugs approached him, demanded cash, and fled with the money on foot.

The victim chased after the thugs. One of the suspects shot the victim once.

The suspects fled. There has been no arrest, police said.

The victim was transported to Kaiser Permanente’s San Francisco hospital with non life threatening injuries.
