Three women had their purses — or the contents — pilfered and a man lost his cellphone in separate robberies

16th and Mission streets 1 a.m. Wednesday

A man was assaulted and robbed, police said. The victim was talking on his cellphone when he was struck from behind with an unknown object. As he watched the assailant flee, he realized his phone was gone.

17th and Dolores streets 1:50 a.m. Wednesday

A woman was robbed by four other women, police said. The crooks brandished a gun and demanded the victim’s purse. The victim pulled her wallet out, threw it at the crooks and fled. The crooks fled with the wallet by car.

Sacramento and Laguna streets 11:54 p.m. Tuesday

A woman was stabbed and robbed, police said. She was at a bus stop when a man allegedly grabbed her purse. She struggled to keep it and was stabbed in the leg. He fled with the bag, but was later arrested.

Underwood Avenue and Ingalls Street 9:20 p.m. Tuesday

A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint, police said. A man bear-hugged the male victim and grabbed the woman’s purse. The creep dragged the man across the street and emptied his pockets. He told the victim not to look at him or he’d kill him.
