Three things to do in a parking lot

There is so much to think about before the parking lot at 17th and Folsom streets turns to part open space haven, part affordable housing ... and so little time before the grant proposal’s due.

Remember this meeting on Jan. 23 when you could have pulled any slide, water irrigation or community garden hallucination out of your hat?

Now your limitless dreams have been narrowed to three.

There’s a Revolution Park Concept, the Mission Creek Commons Park Concept and the Eco-People Park Concept, too.

Yes, they can change. But the Planning Department is warning you that the state grant application is due March 1.

Until then, you can e-mail Susan.Exline@sfgov.org with comments.

Also, it all depends on whether The City actually gets the grant money.
