Three Supes out for first meeting of the new year

For the first meeting of the Board of Supervisors since holiday recess, three of the 11-member board are going to be no-shows, which is expected to result in the continuance of several items on the agenda, including one bill that would prohibit the eviction of families with children under 18.

Supervisor Chris Daly is not going to make the meeting, not returning back in time for a holiday vacation back east. Supervisor John Avalos and Supervisor Michela Alioto-Pier are calling in sick.
