Thieving fiends target females across San Francisco on Tuesday 

Geneva Avenue near Mission Street
4:45 p.m. Tuesday

A 15-year-old girl was punched by a 17-year-old girl and then pickpocketed by a younger juvenile. They fled with an iPod Touch. Police later found the suspects and arrested them.

Alemany Boulevard and Victoria Street
6:20 p.m. Tuesday

A 22-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint of her purse, which included cash, a credit card and student ID. The victim was not injured and there has been no arrest.

Higuera Avenue near Arballo Drive
8:57 p.m. Tuesday

A 20-year-old woman was walking when she was robbed at gunpoint by suspects standing outside of a minivan that was double-parked. She lost a MacBook Pro laptop and cash. Three suspects, men in their 20s, fled in the minivan.

Hudson Avenue and Mendell Street
9:50 p.m. Tuesday

A 22-year-old woman exited the T-Third light rail car and was followed by fellow passengers — five teenagers. One of the suspects grabbed her purse and fled. A suspect was armed with a knife.
