The Nation magazine colludes with international corporation to provide content

Liberal magazine "The Nation" announced that it will be releasing its iPhone app "to provide breaking news and analysis, politics, culture and sports throughout the day, all at no cost to you." According to the email:

American’s most incisive editors and writers offer up to the minute coverage that the corporate media elite are loath to acknowledge or address, framing the debate that our democracy urgently needs....

They're able to provide all that free content, by the way, because a large corporation has enough marketshare to host their app on its store for free. If this were 20 years ago, there would have been no way to just give away the magazine. Turns out that the corporate world hasn't succeeded in squelching "the debate that our democracy urgently needs" after all. Shh! Nobody tell Apple!
