The Blotter: Hit-and-run, heated arguments, family feud, sewage backup 

San Carlos

Accident: At 12:21 p.m. Monday, a report was made of an accident at East San Carlos and Bayport avenues. A white van possibly hit another vehicle because there was white paint where damage to the car was sustained.

Bad call: At 4:31 p.m. Monday, a person reported that their iPhone was stolen in the 1300 block of San Carlos Avenue.

Talk it out:
At 7:02 p.m. Monday, a group of people was reportedly having a heated verbal argument in the 1100 block of Old Country Road.

Child’s play: At 4:27 p.m. Sunday, a complaint was made of kids playing in the street near Porto Marino Drive and Locarno Way. However, no kids were found.

Foster City

Domestic problem:
At 10:51 a.m. Monday, a person on Puffin Court called 911 and then hung up. Upon a callback, a person reported being involved in an argument with her 30-year-old son who does not live there. The situation was mediated, and the son was going to leave the residence.

Drunk daughter:
At 12:16 p.m. Monday, a woman reported that she came home to her residence on Shell Boulevard and was assaulted by her 18-year-old daughter. The teenage woman left in her vehicle and was heavily intoxicated. An extensive check of the area failed to turn up the daughter or her vehicle. The mother filed a report, but no ­prosecution was desired.

South City

Confused: At 3:44 a.m. Monday, a woman in a car at Clay Park on Clay Avenue called 911 to report that she could not find her keys and did not know where she was. The woman sounded disoriented. She was in a red Ford Fiesta rental car.

Backed up: At 5:48 a.m. Monday, a report was made of a sewer pipe backing up into the road at Genentech Building 27 on Grandview Drive.
