Test how well you know San Francisco trivia

Game playing is on the program tonight at the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society’s meeting. The board game "Play San Francisco" features questions and answers that pinpoint offbeat aspects of The City’s history.

The interactive evening will focus on "the best damn trivia game I’ve ever played," according to the infamous Emperor Norton, who, according to a SFMHS spokesperson, might make an in-person costumed visit to the event, which begins at 7:30 p.m. today.

Also on the program are vocals by Mill Valley resident Christina Waldeck, accompanied by her band, performing tunes about San Francisco. Waldeck, who has been vice president and secretary of the SFMHS board of directors, is retiring after 17 years of service. In addition to taking charge of programming for the past seven years, she also has been a docent for historical tours, and chair of the Old Mint groundbreaking for the San Francisco/Bay Area Museum.

Tonight’s event is in Kanbar Hall at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, 3200 California St. It’s free to SFMHS members; a $5 donation is requested from others.
