Teens tased, punched in attempted cellphone robbery 

One teen was tased and another was punched in the face during an attempted cellphone robbery in the Dogpatch neighborhood, according to police.

Two teenagers, aged 14 and 12 years old, were followed off the bus by other teenagers when it stopped near 18th and 3rd Streets at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The suspects demanded that one of the victims hand over his cell phone, police say. One suspect then tased the victim, while the other suspect punched the victim's companion in the face.

Friends of the two teens called police, who responded and arrested the suspects. One suspect is 16 years old, and the other is 12 years old.
