Teenage girl hit by pickup truck in Sunset 

A teenager was hit by a pickup truck in the Sunset district this morning and was transported to a hospital.

The girl was near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Rivera Street around 7:30 a.m. when the truck hit her, according to fire Lt. Mindy Talmadge.

When paramedics arrived, the girl was unconscious, but she was taken to a hospital and has regained consciouness since, Talmadge said.

Talmadge did not have any information about the driver or the circumstances surrounding the crash.

On Tuesday a woman was struck by a car in the SoMa neighborhood in an alley near Sixth and Mission streets around 7:50 a.m.

She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and is still recovering.
