Teenage girl forced to withdraw money at gunpoint near Civic Center 

A teenage girl was forced at gunpoint to withdraw money at multiple ATMs near the Civic Center early Wednesday morning, police said.

The 17-year-old victim was approached by a man in his 20s near Eighth and Market streets about 4:45 a.m. and threatened to shoot her before demanding her money at gunpoint, police said.

The victim said she had no money so he forced her to withdraw money from multiple ATMs before telling the girl to turn around so that he could flee in an unknown direction.

No arrest has been made.
