Teen sought in stabbing near Redwood City 

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate a teenage boy who stabbed another male in unincorporated Redwood City on Monday evening, a sheriff's spokesman said today.

The stabbing happened around 6 p.m. in the 2700 block of Blenheim Avenue in North Fair Oaks, sheriff's spokesman Ray Lunny said.

The victim suffered four stab wounds to his neck and face and was taken to a hospital, Lunny said. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation, Lunny said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic teenager standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds.
